'Our Mission Involves Solely Eliminating' - How Sudan's Ruthless Militia Conducted a Massacre

The combatants are celebrating a mass killing that aid workers suspect claimed the lives of more than thousands of civilians in the Sudanese urban center of the Darfur city during October.

An Urban Center Isolated from the Outside

After maintaining the community under siege for approximately 24 months, from the summer the militia proceeded to strengthen its position and blockade the leftover inhabitants.

Orbital photography demonstrate that fighters commenced to erect a massive sand wall - a built-up sand barrier - surrounding the perimeter of the city, closing access routes and halting humanitarian assistance.

While the blockade intensified, seventy-eight people were killed in an RSF assault on a mosque on mid-September, while the UN said dozens more were killed in drone and artillery strikes on a refugee settlement in the autumn.

Graphic Video Depicts Unarmed Civilians Gunned Down

At dawn on 26 October the paramilitary force conquered the remaining government defenses and took control of the primary base in the community, the headquarters of the Army Division, as the army withdrew.

One of the most horrific recordings to appear and analysed showed the aftermath of a massacre at a campus structure on the western side of the community, where scores corpses were seen strewn across the floor.

A senior individual wearing a robe was seated alone surrounded by the victims. The individual rotated to gaze as a fighter carrying with a firearm walked descending the steps towards the individual. lifting his firearm, the fighter released a solitary round at the victim, who collapsed to the ground lifeless.

"How come is this person yet alive," another militiaman exclaimed. "Kill this person."

Satellite images taken on late October appeared to verify that executions were additionally carried out on the thoroughfares of al-Fashir, based on a report released by the academic research center.

RSF Leaders Attempt to Carry Out Reputation Management

Posts presenting its combatants providing supplies to civilians were circulated by several individuals, while the force's communications team released several videos purporting to display the compassionate handling of army detainees.

Regardless of the social media effort being used by the paramilitary, their actions in the city have provoked international outrage.
