Mohamed Salah Extends Regret to Liverpool Dressing Room, Says Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that Mohamed Salah apologised to the entire Liverpool squad after the controversy from his public comments.

He was omitted from a key Champions League match after making accusations and stating his rapport with Arne Slot had deteriorated.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, I'm sorry.’”
Arne Slot has refused to comment publicly on whether he received a personal apology from the 33-year-old forward.

The player stated that the squad's reaction was unchanged. “Nothing about him changed, he had a big smile on his face and it was business as usual,” the midfielder explained.
He also noted that a player's desire to start is preferable. “It's clear there are different methods you can go about things,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just sit out, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”

Liverpool's form have been impressive in the period after the interview fallout. Jones believes the forward's comments were never meant to destabilise the squad.
“If passion has boiled over, it’s always been from a desire to win,” Jones concluded. “It's behind us and we’re building chemistry, getting results and starting to win games.”
