It's a challenge for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

The highest peaks have been successfully scaled.

This is the unit that has won seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to an additional six T20 titles, and earlier maintained over three years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

It needed up to Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to complete their first ODI chase exceeding 300, reclaiming their record for the biggest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, frankly, a compliment to the pitchers that have sported the yellow jersey over five decades.

It's difficult for their batters to maintain a record if never given the chance.

Ultimately, the result of Australia giving up 330 runs was skipper Alyssa Healy receiving a chance to create her most recent brilliance.

"The possibility to play and engage in competition with her and just have a bit of fun in that regard, kind of motivated me," commented Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 pitches - her fastest at the global tournament - and her hundred in 84 as she punished short deliveries, striking 21 boundaries and three big hits.

Once she was dismissed Australia needed 66 more at one run per ball - a manageable total now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I'm happy we have the confidence to accomplish that now," continued Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to do it another time but, if we do, we know we can succeed."

These statements will be the ultimate thing rival teams at this championship need to hear.

During the last week a feeling they will triumph from any situation has grown stronger - this victory following success over Pakistan by 107 runs despite sitting at 76-7 at one point.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a match against traditional opponents England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final place may likely be confirmed.

It was in the semi-finals they were eliminated from last year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - an encounter Healy was absent due to damaged tissue in her foot as she led her country for the initial instance at a significant event.
